The challenges run through every step of functional-film manufacturing. High-performance substrate fabrication is the film’s “skeleton”; its cleanliness, flatness, and intrinsic properties are the foundation for everything. On this premium substrate, precision coating is the step that gives the structure its “soul”: by uniformly depositing functional formulations on the substrate, the film is endowed with specific optical, electrical, or protective/barrier properties.
